NEW CUPRA E-RACER

In the last Geneva show in 2018, CUPRA presented the new CUPRA E-RACER.

The first competition of 100% electric competition presented to compete in the new E TCR championship next year 2019.

The new E-Racer has 680 HP, 230 HP more than the usual CUPRA TCR gasoline.

It is a rear-drive electric vehicle whose engine and batteries are located on the rear axle.

The loss of energy produced during braking is exploited thanks to its brakes in combination with a 65kwh battery.

To fully recharge this vehicle, it takes 40 minutes.

It has 23 panels with 264 load units each.

This battery has a weight of almost half a ton, due to the great weight that presents its volume has had to be distributed throughout the lower part of the car.

It has four engines, with which it reaches 12,000 revolutions with a single gear.

DESIGN

In terms of design, more than 20,000 have been designed to design the new CUPRA E-Racer model, based on the SEAT León chassis.

Several security elements are added to this structure, such as the interior security arch, in order to adapt it to a competition vehicle.

The rear-view mirrors have been replaced by small cameras, thanks to which the driver can see everything that happens around the car through a screen integrated into the dashboard.

It has a large fixed spoiler and a widened body where the huge wheel arches stand out, the XXL rear diffuser and a truly imposing front.

On the front we will see a closed grill in which the new CUPRA logo is integrated.
